Monthly Archives: March 2016
Ah, I am a year old. No, let me qualify that. WordPress says this blog has just celebrated its first birthday without me in it. Last March 23, I received another familiar notification from WordPress that says:
You registered on WordPress.com one year ago.
Thanks for flying with us. Keep up the good blogging.
One day –
You would finally understand
the endless struggles
and the painful journey.
When you get to the end of the road
And you finally see the light
welcoming you home,
you’ll smile and say,
I am blessed after all.
And you utter a silent prayer of thanks.
There would be other places to explore
and you know deep within
that you’ll be ready to journey again.
We do not remember days, we remember the moments. – cesare pavese
A blessed Holy Wednesday to all.
“The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. To dig for treasures shows not only impatience and greed, but lack of faith. Patience, patience, patience, is what the sea teaches. Patience and faith. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach—waiting for a gift from the sea.”- anne morrow lindbergh
The silence, more palpable than it ever was before. The beauty that Nature brings. I’ve always been in awe of these gifts – when you think of life, grateful for the message that it brings. Sometimes, I wish I were nearer the sea and let my feet sink in the sand, listen to the sound of splashing waves and find maybe a sea glass or two to store in my jar of memories.
Gosh it’s hot, really really hot outside. The sun bites the skin. In a few days it would be officially summer. One good thing about it though are the flowers that bloom in the garden. I took this photo early this morning.
It made me smile knowing other colorful blooms will follow, a perfect opportunity to practIce macrophotography.
How’s the weather at your end?
I waited for it to spread its wings
Positioning my camera nearer than allowed.
It was a waiting game for both of us
Did you say patience is a virtue?
