Is It Summer Yet?
Gosh it’s hot, really really hot outside. The sun bites the skin. In a few days it would be officially summer. One good thing about it though are the flowers that bloom in the garden. I took this photo early this morning.
It made me smile knowing other colorful blooms will follow, a perfect opportunity to practIce macrophotography.
How’s the weather at your end?

That’s a wonderful flower, Arlene. We are a long way from summer here yet. It was zero degrees last night, and despite a sunny morning, the mud is still deep all around. We will probably have to wait until May, before we get any feeling of the summer to come.
Best wishes, Pete.

That’s sad having all the mud around but at least you have a cool weather there.

These look like Desert Roses to me. I saw a totally white kind of these Desert Roses. Here the weather is always hot.

I don’t know the exact name of this variety. Locally we call it Kalachuchi.
