What A Surprise!

I can’t believe I haven’t touched and visited this blog like forever (an exaggeration of course) but I was so focused on updating my main blog so I forgot about this.

Early this morning while I was watering the plants, I looked up at our jackfruit trees and saw this.

I was hoping I could still use it for ginatang langka  (a young jackfruit cooked in coconut cream) but it was already so big to use it as a veggie. I would just let it  ripen. Maybe in a month o two, we could harvest it.

These trees usually bear fruits during the summer months but this one appeared quite early. Just  lucky and blessed I guess.

Good morning friends!

About arlene

And here I thought it would be easy to create and start another blog. Starting all over again but that is the challenge of blogging. This is a continuation of my other blog called Dreams and Escapes. It is still a work in progress...

  1. I have never had a Jackfruit, Arlene. But that one looks huge. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.
